PAA 9/10 2D Poster Presentation Rubric (May 16 & 18)

Visual Presentation (Poster)
Poster looks complete and is attractive. There is additional information added to inform viewer. Effort is evident. It is unique, practical, realistic and neatly presented.
Poster is complete but could use some sprucing up. Some information is added to inform the viewer. Quite a bit of effort is evident.
Poster is incomplete and not attractive. No additional information included. Little to no effort is apparent.
Creativity
All assignment requirements are well thought out. The product is creative and interesting. It has some traditional aspects but also includes other, original, supported, ideas.
Missing some assignment requirements and could use some more thought or explanation is needed. The product is expected and obvious.
Missing 2 or more assignment requirements. Needs substantial work and explanation. The product is obvious and basic.
Verbal Presentation
Student can answer all questions with little help or prompting. They are informed, have a good voice level and have eye contact. Described project with detailed passion. Effort made to convince judge that this is the right choice. Described everything and said 'why'.
Student can answer most questions with some prompting and help. When speaking, they were told to speak up or repeat. Not what you would expect from a grade 9 student. Described with some detail, struggled to say 'why' or address certain details on the poster.
Student struggled substantially throughout presentation and gave little insight into product. Much more explanation is needed.  Not what you would expect from a grade 9 student.
Described with little to no detail. Did not explain 'why' for most, if not all, of the different aspects on the poster.
