Art Assignment #1: Where in the World is Lisa?
Mona Lisa is missing...again! She has asked you to create a postcard showing where in the world she is. As a group you will research how to depict the scenery of a certain place or culture. You will then create a postcard of the Mona Lisa in that place or culture. You must include:
At least the head of the Mona Lisa
A culturally/place appropriate background and foreground
A slogan or saying such as "Wish you were here!" "Greetings From..." "Holidays in..."
The postcards must be completed on one side of the paper given. On the other side can include an address or written message.
Outcomes: CR7.2 Investigate and identify ways that the arts can communicate a sense of place.
