Redo Policy:
As per Ms. Orban's  redo policy, students are allowed to fix up any incorrect questions and receive up to HALF of the potential marks. 

Students will redo/ answer the incorrect questions on a SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER entitled "redo" and the assignment name,  staple that paper to the original assignment and hand it into Ms. Orban  no more than 2 weeks after the corrected assignments are handed back.

SS9- Sept 27- Time/ Review

Theme: Introduction

1. Go over test review:
- Definitions (from the beginning of the semester).
- How to convert years to centuries
- linear vs cyclical time and examples
- What is a society? (long answer question).

2. Finish linear/ cyclical time questions and hand in.
3. Study for test

SS9- Sept 22- Culture Assignment/Time

Theme: Introduction

1. Finish and hand in your Aspects of Culture assignment.
2. Centuries assignment. Be sure to highlight and makes notes on the reading. Hand in this assignment for marks.
3. Linear and Cyclical time reading: we will read this together as a class, hand in the assignment once completed.

SS9- Sept 19- Aspects of Culture

Theme: Introduction

1. Using the computer, research TWO of the cultures listed on the board and compare the 14 different aspects of culture (also listed on the board). Be sure to give lots of detail to strengthen the comparison.
2. Hand in the society assignment and this assignment when you are finished.
